Summary: The Overseas Counsellor plays a pivotal role in guiding and supporting Indian students seeking higher education opportunities overseas. This position requires a deep understanding of the Indian education system, international education trends, and the intricacies of admission processes at foreign universities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for empowering students to achieve their academic aspirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive counseling sessions with prospective students and their families, providing in-depth information on various study abroad options, application procedures, scholarship opportunities, and visa requirements.
  • Assess individual student profiles, including academic records, extracurricular activities, and career goals, to identify suitable study abroad programs and universities.
  • Assist students in preparing strong application packages, including writing compelling personal statements, crafting tailored essays, and selecting relevant recommendations.
  • Organize and conduct workshops and seminars on various aspects of overseas education, covering topics such as university selection, application strategies, pre-departure preparation, and cultural adjustment.
  • Maintain regular communication with partner institutions abroad, gathering updates on admission requirements, program offerings, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Liaise with Indian government agencies, embassies, and consulates to ensure students are aware of the latest visa regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:
