Cokonet Academy was founded in 2010 and has now grown into a group with two arms operating from Trivandrum and Kochi: Academy (language training: German, French, IELTS, OET, PTE, TOEFL, Duolingo) and Overseas (study abroad placement, visa filing, Healthcare-to-Germany pathway). We hire counsellors, trainers, operations staff, content creators, and tech team members across our Trivandrum and Kochi offices. Most of our team members have been with us 4+ years.

Cokonet Academy started in 2010 and is still owner-operated. No private equity churn, no sudden pivots. The same leadership team that built the business is still building it.
Real growth runway
We are expanding from two offices to four over the next 18 months. Senior counsellors get team-lead opportunities. Trainers move into curriculum head roles. Operations staff become office managers.

Senior Study Abroad Counsellor
Full time · Trivandrum or Kochi · 5+ years experience
Lead student conversations from first call through visa filing. You will own 25-40 active student files at a time across 2-3 destination countries. We are particularly looking for counsellors with deep knowledge of Canada, Germany, UK, or Australia.
German Language Trainer (B1 to B2)
Full time · Trivandrum or Kochi · Goethe / TELC certified preferred
Teach German B1 and B2 batches for our healthcare-to-Germany pathway. Goethe Institute or TELC certification preferred. C1 or C2 level fluency required. Healthcare-specific German experience is a major plus.
IELTS / OET Trainer
Full time · Trivandrum or Kochi · Cambridge CELTA preferred
Run intensive IELTS Band 7+ tracks and OET healthcare batches. We are looking for trainers who can coach across all four skills with structured mock test cycles. Personal IELTS Band 8 or OET Grade A preferred.
Content Marketing Executive
Full time · Trivandrum or remote · 2+ years content experience
Write long-form guides, YouTube scripts (English + Malayalam), and social media content for our Kerala audience. Strong understanding of SEO and the study abroad domain expected. Comfort writing in both English and Malayalam is a major advantage.
Digital Marketing Executive
Full time · Trivandrum or Kochi · 2+ years agency or in-house experience
Run paid and organic acquisition for Cokonet Overseas across Meta, Google, YouTube, and Instagram. Build Kerala-specific funnels for the study abroad and healthcare-to-Germany audiences. Manage daily ad budgets, weekly performance reporting, creative briefs to the in-house video team, and conversion tracking end-to-end.
External Marketing Executive
Full time · Trivandrum or Kochi · 2+ years field marketing or partnerships
Own offline marketing for Cokonet Overseas: school and college outreach, education fairs, alumni and parent meetups across Kerala. Build relationships with college placement cells, NSS units, and Plus-Two coordinators. Travel across Kerala for events, partner activations, and on-ground demand generation.
Telecaller (Inside Sales)
Full time · Trivandrum or Kochi · 0 to 2 years experience · Malayalam + English
Be the first voice families hear after they enquire online. Qualify warm leads, book counselling appointments, follow up on documents, and maintain candidate pipelines in our CRM. Friendly phone manner, comfort with parents and students alike, and consistent follow-through expected.
Video Editor and Creative Designer
Full time · Trivandrum · 2+ years editing and design
Produce short-form video (Reels, Shorts, YouTube) and static creatives for paid campaigns, organic social, and brand content. Edit student testimonials, counsellor explainers, and event recaps. Strong sense of Kerala-context visuals, comfortable with Premiere Pro or DaVinci, Photoshop, and Figma.

About Cokonet careers.
Do you hire freshers, or only experienced professionals?
We hire across all levels. Telecaller, Junior Counsellor, Content Marketing Executive, and Video Editor roles are open to freshers and 1 to 2 years experience. Senior Counsellor, Trainer, Digital Marketing, and External Marketing roles require 2+ years relevant experience. We invest heavily in onboarding regardless of your starting level.
Can I work remotely?
Some roles allow partial remote work after a 3-month in-office induction. Content Marketing and certain technical roles can be fully remote. Counsellor and trainer roles require regular in-office presence because most of our parent meetings happen face to face at our Trivandrum or Kochi offices.
What is the salary range?
We pay above the Kerala consultancy market average, with structured annual increments and performance bonuses tied to student outcomes (not raw volume). Exact ranges are shared in the phone screen after CV review. Trainers earn additional batch-completion incentives. Senior counsellors earn placement-success bonuses.
