1.How we serve Kozhikode students
- Monthly camp days in Kozhikode, usually rotating between central Kozhikode town and partner college venues. Senior counsellors from our Kochi branch travel for full-day clinics. Schedule posted on events page.
- Video counselling from our Kochi or Trivandrum office, six days a week.
- Kochi branch visits: VSRA-59, Vennala. From Kozhikode by train: 3.5 to 4 hours to Ernakulam Town, then 25 to 35 minutes by auto. By car or KSRTC bus on NH-66: 4 to 4.5 hours.
- Trivandrum head office: 7+ hours by train. Practical only for cases requiring in-person senior reviews not handled remotely.
Most Kozhikode counselling happens via video. We have invested in this specifically because the travel time to Kochi or Trivandrum from Kozhikode is substantial; the document workflow and language placement testing all run cleanly over video and email.

GEC Kozhikode is a strong state-government engineering college with affordable tuition and good placement records. GECK students often pair domestic placement readiness with selective overseas applications, typically Canada (PGWP-based), UK (Graduate Route), and Germany (free tuition + Job Seeker Visa).
Calicut University departments and affiliated colleges
The University of Calicut has Computer Science, IT, and other technical departments in Kozhikode, alongside a network of affiliated arts and commerce colleges across the Malabar region. For Calicut University Arts/Commerce/Science students, the destination mix favours UK (MA, MSc, MBA), USA (business and policy), Canada (PG diplomas), and Australia (PR-focused programmes).
Malabar-region nursing graduates
Kozhikode is the largest urban centre in north Kerala (Malabar) and the regional hub for the Malabar-region nursing colleges in Kozhikode, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts. For these graduates, the Healthcare-to-Germany pathway is the most common request. UK NMC, Ireland NMBI, and Gulf hospital routes follow.
Working professionals from Cyberpark and SmartCity Kochi adjacency
Kozhikode has the Cyberpark IT park at Kakkanchery and a growing tech-employment base. Working professionals with 2 to 6 years of experience come in for part-funded Masters abroad. Northern Europe (Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark) and the US (with STEM OPT) are common picks. We run evening and weekend video slots for these candidates.

NORKA-ROOTS Kozhikode Regional Office
Kozhikode is a NORKA-ROOTS regional office (not just a district cell), covering the entire Malabar region: Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts. Toll-free: 1800 425 3939. The regional office processes Triple Win applications, Kerala State Overseas Student ID cards, Pravasi Raksha insurance, and certificate attestation for north Kerala. Coordinates with the Trivandrum head office for the Triple Win intake batches.

NORKA Institute of Foreign Language (NIFL) Kozhikode branch
NIFL operates a Kozhikode branch at CM Mathew Sons Tower, Ram Mohan Road, Kozhikode 673004. Phones: +91 8714259444, +91 8714259333. The Kozhikode branch offers German language training up to B1 and serves the Triple Win Malabar candidates. For students not in the Triple Win pipeline, public batches are available.
IELTS, PTE, OET test centres
British Council and IDP operate IELTS test centres in Kozhikode. PTE Academic and OET centres are present in Kozhikode and Calicut, with multiple monthly slots. Book directly through British Council India, IDP India, Pearson PTE, or OET official websites; do not pay third parties for slot allocation.
Calicut International Airport (CCJ)
Kozhikode airport (Karipur) is one of Kerala's three international airports, with direct flights to Gulf hubs (Dubai, Doha, Sharjah, Riyadh, Jeddah) and connecting flights to Europe (Frankfurt, London) and beyond via Middle East transit. For Malabar-region students heading to Germany, the typical routing is CCJ to Dubai or Doha, then Frankfurt onward.
Passport office and PCC
Regional Passport Office for the Malabar region is at Kozhikode (covers Kozhikode, Malappuram, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod). PCCs for visa applications are issued by the Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode City, in 5 to 10 working days.
4.How counselling works for Kozhikode students
